Meeting Minutes - May 12th, 2016
The minutes of the May 12, 2016 business meeting are as follows:
* Meeting came to order at 7:00PM.
* Pledge, moment of silence, then attendee roll call.
* Treasurer's report of account balance of $xx approved by Tom KD9BVC and Jerry KD2JGH.
* Jim, WA2RJP reports that he has our 443.350MHz repeater up and working fine again, with the assistance of Tom KD9BVC and Charlie N1CRR.
* Charlie, N1CRR presented the JSARS Traffic Net report for the month of April:

* Reminder, JSARS hamfest is on Sunday, June 5th. We estimate a need for 10 to 15 vendor tables. Preparation will be done on Saturday evening about 4:30PM, helpers needed. We will have CheapHam and John, KA2F ARRL QSL Card Checker attending our hamfest!
* Jim, WA2RJP is co-ordinating an evening JSARS outing at the Blue Claw stadium which will include a dinner. A Thursday evening would be preferred. Contact Jim if you are interested so he can get a head count. It was agreed that the club will contribute to the ticket cost, ie. if the cost is $25, the attendee first pays $15, then the club pays $10.
* Reminder, elections for club officiers is scheduled during the June 9th business meeting.
* Ricky, KC2VXI reports he received a call from the FCC regarding an up-date on the issue of repeater interference.
* New JSARS members voted in tonight:

* Total meeting attendees 24.
