    • Llyod, N2KPC, and Jim, WA2RJP, have had initial discussions about linking the Willingboro Repeater and the JSARS Repeater. This would provide a greatly increased coverage area for both repeaters. JSARS does have some member who's entire commute could then be within the combined coverage area. The discussions are still preliminary . The linked machines may also serve in times of emergency. Initial thoughts are that the linking could be controlled by any of the control operators for the repeater.
    • Packet Node Issues: The port on the computer running the packet node had gone bad. The down link was switched to a different port that had not been utilized in some time.
    • Repeater Issues: The repeater site needs new locks. Jim< WA2RJP and Don, K2HCW, are addressing that issue. Additionally, as reminded by Bob, N2LXL, the repeater currently does not have a battery backup. This is on the list of issues to be addressed as the volunteers time is available and after the lock situation is resolved.
    • 12 new members were voted on and all were accepted.
    • A reminder that there will be a work party/gathering Friday August 17, 2007 at Riverwood Park to prepare for the following day's Hamfest.
  • Motion to Close the meeting by Ed, WA2NDA, and seconded by Bob, N2LXL.
  • Meeting closed, next meeting September 13, 2007.
