ARISS Announces Slow-Scan Television Event

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) has announced another slow-scan television (SSTV) transmission event, using images from the NASA on the Air (NOTA) program that celebrated NASA’s 60th anniversary and key events in NASA’s early history during 2018.

The past week saw increased solar activity, with average daily sunspot numbers rising from 5.3 to 19.6 and average daily solar flux from 69.8 to 74.5.
