VE Testing

JSARS VE Testing Information & Schedule

The club conducts VE sessions on the third Thursday of the month throughout the year. The testing begins promptly at 7:00 PM, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Testing Location

Testing is located at:
Riverwood Recreation Center, PARK-BLDG #2
Riverwood Drive and Whitesville Road
Toms River, NJ 08755
Directions to Riverwood Recreation Center

Please remember to bring the following items:

• FCC issued FRN number
• Valid Photo ID
• Copy of current Amateur Radio license (if held)
• Any earned Certificates of Successful Completion

You will also need to provide a valid phone number and email address.

The Volunteer Exam Coordinators (VEC) must submit your FRN with your exam results. You can obtain an FRN from the FCC. For information on how to obtain an FRN, please see this instructional video provided by the FCC:

Walk-in candidates are welcome. Testing begins promptly at 7:00 pm, so please arrive a few minutes early.

If anyone would like another session conducted for a group of candidates or directions on how to travel to our current site, just mail or drop a note to the team liaison.
