  •  MEETING CAME TO ORDER AT 19:00 HRS

 

  • PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, A MOMENT OF SILENCE for our service men & women and also our First Responders, followed by ROLL CALL.

 

  • Acting SECRETARY Richie,KD2PGP  READ THE LAST MEETING’S MINUTES.

  • ECONOMIC REPORT and RADIO SPORT ACTIVITIES:
Jerry,K2MD mentioned the round table after the traffic net is going well and that we are all enjoying the round tables and the wed.night swap & shop.
Brian WA2FAX, IARU (International Amatuer Radio Union) which the ARRL is a member of, June 15- 16th. also mentioned Work All State award is W.Virginia . and also mentioned ARRL SPONSERED "KIDS DAY EVENT"  on June 15 @1800 hrs till 2359hrs (zulu time) so get on the air and enjoy with the kids.
Chris K2HVE Field Day 6/22-23,2024 hopefully you  all checked and tested your equipment and antennas, what you need to bring and have for the weekend activities, and that WB2BNB is our safety coordinator. also mentioned Lunch at noon donated by Tom,KD9BVC (HAMBURGERS & HOT DOGS) also set up arrangements with the trailers and radio tables. all to have a great weekend. Also to keep aware of the intense heat that was forecasted . 
N1CRR mentioned the PACKET RADIO is in place at our Lakehurst location, but the antenna was damaged and snapped in half in progress of getting a new antenna. Jim & Charlie will be replacing it soon as they can.
  • Old Business : spoke with Rocky N2YQS he is not renewing his call sign license and is retiring from Amateur radio his radio gear is being dispersed. New member was voted in N2LGS, John (welcome).

KD9BVC MENTIONED a donation of radios to club was tested by himself, K2HVE,Chris, and WB2BNB,Ike and most all tested good for resale and or club use. KD9BVC wants to aquire metal cabinets to clean up back room to sort and sell or trash old equipment that is in there. inventory is up to date of JSARS inventory. KD2PGP NOMINATED K2HVE to head Liquidation Radio commitee,kd2pgp,wa2fax,kc2fal,kd9bvc volunteered. WB2BNB suggusted the equipment be tested and shown is in working order before sale. Sunshine commitee has a card for W2DDS please sign.
