Meeting came to order at 19:00.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence, followed by roll call.

READING OF MINUTES Secretary, kc2kth, John, read minutes from the last meeting. Motion to accept by k2md, Jerry, seconded by n1crr, Charlie.

TREASURY REPORT kd9bvc, Tom, gave treasury report, [DETAIL]. Motion to accept by aa2bd, Big D, seconded by kd2zjg, Steve.

TRAFFIC NET REPORT for month of August presented by n1crr, Charlie. Motion to accept by kc1mrr, Jim and seconded by n2lgs, John.

LOCAL NEWS AND RADIO REPORT

k2md plans to deliver an “orientation” type session for new/returning hams – date TBD

k2md discussed differences between a “directed net” and our “round table”, and the different rules of order for each. n1crr contributed to this disucussion as well for benefit of all.

k2md plans to deliver additional session on traffic handling to drive traffic and practice – date TBD

wa2rjp provided updates on the 9/70 water tower project – in progress, antennas have been removed, three antennas to be returned to service around January – one will be a standby for 910 machine, others will restore 6 and 220 service

Club may need to provide mounting hardware – unknown if existing welded mounts will remain on tower

Lakehurst issues still pending – 900, 440, and packet stations impacted

OLD BUSINESS

Reminder of QSO party on the 20th, club will be opened that day

Radio room build out is underway

TVs will be rehung by township, unknown if they will also rehang the projector screen above the bingo board.

New member, Mark Hoffmanm ke2gqp, passed his exam with JSARS and has free membership extending until end of year
