Meeting came to order at 19:00.

Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence, followed by roll call.

READING OF MINUTES Secretary, John (kc2kth), read minutes from the last meeting. Motion to accept by Nick (k2ngx), seconded by Jeff (ka2dhe).

TREASURY REPORT Charlie (n1crr), gave treasury report, [DETAIL]. Motion to accept by Jeff (ka2dhe), seconded by Nick (k2ngx).

TRAFFIC NET REPORT for month of June presented by Charlie (n1crr). Motion to accept by Ed (w4ejw) and seconded by Chris (k2hve).

LOCAL NEWS AND RADIO REPORT

Chris (k2hve) provided post Field Day updates, and special thanks to Carlos for assisting and covering Charlie. 1287 contacts, 1 cw, 59 of 86 sections worked. Reminder that we dedicated this past Field Day to Tom (kd9bvc, sk).

OLD BUSINESS

Mark mentioned some VEs still need to finish registering tablets for testing

Jim provided repeater updates including Lakehurst is still on hold, Rt9/70 tower work has been done but we are holding on some issue with the tower before we can reinstall our equipment.

Charlie provided an update that echolink is running again from temp location after being removed from old Grone’s site (site pending sale).

Chris suggested a “pop up” event for the club’s 55th anniversary with a sticker placed on our standard QSL card for event. Date will be 10 October at the clubhouse. Steve to obtain permits. This will not be an ARRL promoted event due to long lead time on ARRL events.

Jeff (ka2dhe) suggested working more stations from the clubhouse on Thursday nights. Since multiple stations in the clubhouse are operational, we should take more advantage of that.

NEW BUSINESS

Steve reminded everyone that he is no longer running the soda supply and reminding everyone to pay for what they consume. Carlos has taken over purchasing and stocking of the JSARS beverages with money collected from soda purchases.

Ike expressed an interest in purchasing the club’s Icom 706 if the club is looking to reduce spare radio count.
