Meeting Minutes - February 8, 2018
The minutes of the JSARS Business Meeting of February 8, 2018 are as follows:
* Meeting came to order at 7:00PM.
* Pledge, moment of silence especially for the memory of John Jr., KB2NXH, then attendee roll call.
* Brian WA2FAX read the minutes of our previous meeting, minutes approved by Chris K2HVE and David KD2IJH.
* Don K2HCW presented the treasurer's report. Our account has a balance of $xx,xxx.xx. Report approved by
Pete K3PMC and Jerry KD2JGH.
* Tom KD9BVC announced the terrible news of the passing of our young club member John Jr. KB2NXH on Sunday,
February 4th. All our condolences go out to John Sr. KB2AGP and his family. John Jr. was very active on our 910 repeater,
he will be greatly missed. JSARS will make a $100.00 donation in the name of John Jr. to the St. Jude Hospital.

* For those club members wanting a card stating they are a paid up JSARS member for the current year, Don K2HCW advises
that our club member Holger K2HES of Bayville will make a special call sign card for $5.00.
* Our 2018 Hamfest dates have been confirmed. Details will be posted on our web site:

* Regarding Pauline KD2NGS' suggestion of having traffic net training, Pete K3PMC will conduct a training session for those
interested from 6:30PM to 7:00PM at our next Business Meeting, March 8th at Riverwood Park.
* Jim WA2RJP hopes to have the 220 repeater repaired by February 16th.
* A motion was made and confirmed by majority members present that the new JSARS jackets will be available to anyone at the current
price of $90.00.
* Brian WA2FAX, Pete K3PMC, and Chris K2HVE have volunteered to contact pasted JSARS members and those non-members who currently
use the JSARS repeaters on a regular basis to become members and supporters of JSARS.
* We welcome new JSARS member Jon KD2LMF of Howell, Tech class.
* Total meeting attendees 22.
* Meeting adjourned at 7:55PM, approved by Steve AC2ST and Tom N2RRJ.
