Meeting Minutes - April 12, 2018
The minutes of the JSARS Business Meeting of April 12, 2018 are as follows:
* Meeting came to order at 7:00PM.
* Pledge, moment of silence, then attendee roll call.
* Brian WA2FAX read the minutes of the last meeting, approved by Peter K3PMC and Steve AC2ST.
* Don K2HCW presented the Treasurer's report. Our account balance is $xx.xxx.32. Report approved by
Dave N2WCO and Joe KD2NAY.
* In the absence of Charlie N1CRR, Tom KD9BVC presented the March JSARS ARRL Traffic Net summary:

* Reminder to all, the JSARS Spring Hamfest is this coming Sunday morning, April 22nd at our club house at
Riverwood Park, Toms River. Details are on our web site. Note that our membership in attendance tonight voted to replace Ed WA2NDA with Tom KD9BVC as the VE contact for the Hamfest.
* Chris K2HVE and Pete K3PMC made a suggestion to have another Traffic Net training session at a future business meeting.
* Jim WA2RJP reports that all JSARS repeaters are working as they should.
* Glenn KD2FFR announced that JSARS has volunteered to support the MS Coast Bike Ride scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 19th and 20th. It's a round trip event from Monmouth University, with stops at Sandy Hook, IBSP, and Pt. Pleasant Beach. They need communications volunteers, both stationary and mobile along the bike route. * The annual nominations for all JSARS club officers should be submitted during our May 10th business meeting. Voting by paid up members only will take place at the beginning of our June 14th business meeting.
* JSARS welcomes new member Larry KD2PGR tech class of Bayville.
* Total meeting attendees 24.
