Executive Committee Meeting 12 July 2018

Meeting was called to order at 18:30 EDT. In attendance were the following:

·         Tom Russell, KD9BVC, President

·         Joe Russo, Jr., KD2NAY, Treasurer

·         Steve Wexler, KC2YQZ, Trustee

·         Jim Lange, WA2RJP, Trustee

·         Dennis Dzwonek, KD2NAS, Vice President

·         Matt de Rouville, K3MR, Secretary

·         Steve Thomas, AC2ST, Trustee

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss for formal approval a Society constitution and by-laws. The Society was delinquent in making its state and federal filings and needed founding documents that had been formally approved by the membership.

Both documents were read and discussed. It was mostly a matter of correcting typos and misspellings. 

Separate votes were taken on approving the revised constitution and by-laws. The President does not vote in these issues.  Steve, KC2YQZ, moved and Jim, WA2RJP, seconded accepting the constitution. The vote was 5-0-1. Matt, K3MR, moved and Joe, KD2NAY seconded approval of the by-laws. The vote was 5-0-1.

Both documents will be referred to the Society’s membership.
