  • OLD BUSINESS: TREASURER  N2JRJ Joe , ANNOUNCED JSARS GOT THE APPROVAL FOR OUR 501(C)3. CLUB RECOGNIZES RICHARD KD2VVG FOR HIS HELP ON THIS FINALLY COMING OFFICIAL..KD9BVC spoke about the fcc system down & up and running, be patent about the new system, Also when you renew your license all VE’s needs to contact ARRL for the renewal of your license to update your VE status.WA2RJP in progress of fixing Temp sensor, it needs to be attach on outside of the repeater shack.

 

 

  •  NEW BUSINESS :  N1CRR looking for Net controllers, he will be giving lesson in near future for the new controllers, if interested in being a NC(Net Controller) contact Charlie at N1CRR@verizon.net. KD9BVC brought up elections for next month in June. Nobody made or stepped up for nominations for club officers.
    WE DO NEED A SECRETARY.
    KO2SEN selling few antennas , and KD9BVC has a Kenwood TS440 full set-up radio ready to go. Contact Kurt or Tom and make an offer on such items.
    WA2RJP since 501(c)3 is in affect if buying on amazon and register smile.amazon.com for club to get money back from sales. Also K2HVE brought up now that we are a 501(c)3 club your donations are tax deductible. KO2SEN planted a seed of doing a fund raiser’s for JSARS like a pancake breakfast or spaghetti dinner
    and or a motorcycle poker runs. KD9BVC stressed the point if WE as a club are going to be doing fund raising events, we need to have everyone's involvement and support to do such events as a club or its not going to be a successful fund raising.
    K2HVE brought up again with the HAMFEST events are tough and not working out with such events in public view due to covid and vendors not willing to support such activities cause Ebay and online sales of equipment delivered right to your door front.
    KD2PGP recognized new members when passed their VE testing in April 2022 AND THEY ARE : Gary Kern KD2ZIX, Stephen DeSanto KD2ZJG, Jonathan Patla KD2YMR, and Richard Wallace Jr, aka “wolfe” KD2ZIW. Welcome to JSARS.
